What is known may be unknown and what is unknown will be known.

This video is my take on Alzheimer's. It's one of my greatest fears; not being able to recall the life I lived or the people I've met. I don't only fear this for myself, but I fear it for everyone. I don't believe anyone should not be worthy of being able to remember the life they lead.

  • I experienced Alzheimer's as a child in the company of my great grandmother, who was one of the great influences in my life. I watched my grandfather slip away in my college years. My father had a slow progression of 15 years which ended in 2005. It is for this reason that I have spent much of my adult life recording the collective memories of my family into written and photographic archives against a day when I myself won't be able to remember. I greatly appreciate your poignant message.

  • @scriven53 Wow, I'm so sorry. I like the fact that you have started to record your memories, but I do hope it never happens to you.

  • This is a good reminder. I appreciate you opening up like that too.
