Just for fun. Done in After Effects CS3. I simply drove video properties by the amplitude/volume of the audio, starting off by creating a couple of solid layers, adding several different effects to each of them, and combining them together to produce certain results. Also played with different blending modes of each layer and observed the effects produced when putting one layer on top of another.

The song I used is Ice Shiv, which I downloaded from FreeplayMusic. Full credits below.
