An interview with UK Teaching Award winner Melvyn Kershaw and former pupil, BBC TV presenter Adrian Chiles. Melvyn is headteacher at Haybridge High School, Stourbridge was presented the Royal Air Force Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School at the 2008 UK ceremony.

  • I always looked up to Mr Ralph.

  • To be fair it is a top school for most but it didn't suit me. In my opinion the school works too much on control which is good for some but not for others. But then again your 29 i'm 21 the school may have been very different in those periods of time. It may also be that because they expelled me i have a distorted view of the place. One things true though, most of the people who went there were up their own asses. Good luck to them and you : )

  • @stevethehorse I have been gongn to haybridge for 7 years and never found anything wrong with it , i found it exceptionally brilliant and i have been a top student so all i can say to u is SUCK MY BALLS
