  • @lastride29 this guy is talkin right shit...but not the shit i want

  • @lastride29 he said the people didn't react so friendly towards it which is true, he didn't say anything about his reaction towards it.

  • @365Avalon i know they played 5 classics at the end as well

  • Maiden didn't play ONLY their new stuff in 2006. Eddie Trunk talking shit as usual. He's exactly the kind of dick that thinks he should get into gigs free and get VIP treatment. Complete douche nozzle.

  • The best live bands are probably Iron Maiden and Sabaton, the worst...... It breaks my heart but probably Metallica :P

  • WAT ???? Powerslave from 1985 ?? it's from 1984, every Maiden fan knows that !

  • no better band in the world. (except Pink Floyd)

  • Can I just say, this guy is more accurate than all of you when he says the songs are mainly from 1983-87/88.

Iron Maiden had done the 1980-83 era on their 'Eddie Rips Up the World Tour', or the Early Days tour. This tour was about songs from Powerslave, Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, with classics from the previous 4 albums thrown in on top (and Fear of the Dark).

  • I believe that Eddie Truck doesn't care for Iron Maiden. In the only scene he's in the documentary Fight 666, he asks Bruce if the tour is a nestalga tour. Which looks like it pissed Bruce off, as to say, oh are you guys trying to live off your legacy. Anyone who watches That Metal Show, can see, probably because he's an American DJ, the bands he kisses ass to are Black Sabbath, KISS, Van Halen, i.e. US mainstream bands. Which clearly Maiden are not.
