@farqil HE WAS NOT PAKISTANI. Firstly, he was an undivided indian. He was born in Kotla Sultan Singh which is in Punjab, India and he moved to Lahore before partition and moved back to India after partition to Mumbai

Don't worry this song by Pakistani singer (Mohd Rafi) he moved from lahore to mumbai and singing from his heart so this is the very good example for communal harmony and relation with neighbor country.
