WoW Exploration - Deadmines Secret 4.0.1

"Walks Through Walls" explores the 'Deadmines Secret' on a live server, WoW patch 4.0.1., using slowfall and an elixir of giant growth.

UPDATE: They actually patched the area above the pipe! I can't grow through the wall any longer here... strange.

Just walk to the other side of the pipe (on the left)... you can still do it over there.

You can also use rocket-boots straight to the East after giant-growthing through the tiny point under the stairs in the Goblin Foundry...

@pancencuana You can get there by flying under the Eastern Kingdoms from somewhere else. There are plenty of places where you can get under the continent. Good luck!

Emerald dream?...

@pancencuana Not even close, unfortunately. This area is just known as an "Outlands Testing Ground".

The Emerald Dream is scheduled for an upcoming WoW expansion though. Also, the ED game files are still in the current files (as they have always been) and can be accessed using Model Edit map swapping... but I haven't dove into that world just yet.

A ok. But i wanna ask you something, in the video when u get into karazhan crypts, i try to enter with my friend meely on server Azuremyst and we fail. Do you know another way to enter?

Actually, this does still work. I just did this on my Worgen Male who trick the game into becoming a female Blood Elf (Combining Kalytha's Haunted Locket and the Orb of the Sin'dorei)

The trick is to RUN, not walk, RUN at the wall while spamming something that increases size, preferably the Vrykul Drinking Horn.

@imindaband I just checked again, and this still works just fine (on the first elixir, no less). I am a human mage myself! You're probably not jumping after you use the elixir... I jump in the video.

Make sure you're right up against the wall. Use the elixir. Jump over a small portion of the wall. Slowfall, run & jump! That's it. Good luck!

@Monsterman666 The top of Ironforge Mountain is still reachable by the usual method (slowfalling from IF graveyard and climbing up, or that funny jump behind a tree in Loch Modan). Of course, you'll be able to fly there in a few days. ;)

Old IF is still there and reachable as well... check out my video of that exploration here on my YouTube page...that method still works.

@TheWizardTrokair That would probally make more sense. Come to think of it , deff does remind me a lot of Nagrand. Can you find out if you can still get to the top ("highest part of wow") or bottom of IF (old if etc)? It's been years , so I'm not up to date on any of this exploit stuff. Anyways keep it up :D

@Monsterman666 Thanks man. I have heard that it was some sort of testing area for the Burning Crusade terrain...something the developers worked on in a tucked-off corner that they assumed no one would access. I doubt it will ever see any sort of retail release.

@Markyboy28 Sorry my friend, I just tried again and it still works 4.0.3b. I know they're going to be tuning Deadmines for lv 85 Heroics, so I won't be surprised when they redo this... but it hasn't happened yet!
