  • Shaking... Please use a camera tripod for your next videos.

  • @Medech2012 Thanks but this video is over a year old now.....I've gotten a tripod about a year ago and have used that on newer videos.

  • OK, say im not at home an i need a file. can i download it from this thing? if not, is there such a device i can buy to do that?

  • @simpsonstewie The Time capsule wouldn't help you for that. What you need is something like a network adapter. Seagate makes one. It allows you to connect external hard drive to your router and access it over your home network or the internet.

  • i would suggest not getting this if you are not looking to replace it within a year in a half. see, i have one of these, and the crappy capacitors they put in this thing just gave out. it takes major skill in wires and circuits and digital electronics to fix this thing manually. i have no wireless connection. now my family and i have to take turns on a stupid ethernet cord until god knows when.

  • @suppachrisholland I have heard about that happening to a lot of them. It's been about a year and a half that I've had mine and it's been acting up lately.

  • Can this be used as JUST a backup device, and have nothing whatsoever to do with my router / modem ?

  • this can just be used as just a nothing special external hard drive right? (just like a flash drive would act like)

  • Hi, does anyone know if you can program the time capsule to only backup in the hours you need it like, for instance, between 5-10 mon - fri and all day weekends?

If not, if i hooked it up to a timer plug, would this damage it?

    Thanks

  • So can you just use it for being a hardrive ? On my macbook do i just send files to it or something and it stores it and then when i want it it comes back ?

  • @porsche558 Cool ! Thanks

  • @porsche558 it is cheap to fix if you have a little experience in digital electronics. see the transistors burn out and need replacing. theres plenty of youtube vids on how to use it. although i am capable of fixing it i didnt want to destroy it.
