@r8wing It's Botho Lucas
-
this is not rammstein..
-
Sure sounds like Rammstein. They are known to make excellent use of acoustic guitars.
-
@MadGunnar666 In English, the name of the "Schwarzem Haufen" is the "Black Band" or "Florian Geyer's Black Band" (band here means unit or military group) and "Bauernkriege" is translated as "German Peasants' War" :-)
-
@Hunyadi92 No someone put pictures from Rammstein on it and means it were a song from rammstein.
-
@IzmirWayne erklär das mal den Amis......
-
@TheBassTroll actuallyyyyy this is the song of the 8th Waffen SS Florian Geyer Cavalry division
-
I had no idea this version was sung by Rammstein. Amazing performance, the choir is simply superb.
-
The 3rd SS were the ONLY SS division to really commit "War crimes" and before everyone goes labeling Germany, look at Stalin who killed 20 million during the war, 50 million total in labor camps during his reign.. Look at the US now, invading countries and getting involved with shit we shouldn't even be in. Fuck, Germany isn't the evil one here..
-
Nazis were the saviors of Europe
-
um screw that florian geyer was a hero of the people not a fcking natzi.
die natzi long live prussia
-
No...it is just because some Nazis like Rammstein and there was an SS-Division called "Florian Geyer"
-
@andres6868 You are right with this horrible war crimes, but they only named after "Florian Geyers Schwarzem Haufen" who lived in the 15th/16th century. They fought in the "Bauernkriege" sorry, dont know the translation for that word. And they fought for freedom. Unfortunately this troopname was uses by the nazis...
-
It's a very good song, even if the division after it was named - the Florian Geyer cavalry division - commited horrible war crimes in World War II
-
Rammstein wird niemals ein Lied covern, dass von Rechtsextremen missbraucht wird.
-
no. "Rammstein should remake this song." ;)
-
It's a good marching song and rammstein too. But NOTHING to do with each other. It's a BIG FAKE.
-
fake and gay..
-
Rammstein made this version?!?!?! :-O
Rammstein does not sing this.......yet, but I think they should. I put this together to illustrate that point.

Florian Geyer led a "peasants' revolt" about half a millennium ago. There are still streets in Germany named for him.
The SS also had a "Charlemagne" division. I find this simply a good, solid song, about a nobleman who led a peasants' revolt, and coming from the former East Germany I think the band can relate to that. I think they'd do an excellent remake. It seems their style.
