Abu Hamza, also known as Samir Mohtadi has led IISNA (Islamic Information and Services Network of Australasia) since its beginning.

His family background is Lebanese, however he was raised in Australia. Abu Hamza's grandfather was originally a Maronite Christian who embraced Islam at a young age.

The only way for Muslims to coexist peacefully with non-Muslims in Australia is to tolerate and respect the culture of non-Muslims, and likewise for non-Muslims to respect the culture of Islam, so long as it does not contradict the law. This is integration. People do not expect Muslims to drink alcohol, or sanctify gay relationships, etc. However, if Muslims want to be tolerated, then shouldn't they also tolerate non-Muslims who do live this lifestyle? Tolerance must be mutual to be real.

As all other sociological models have shown, Muslims do not cause trouble until they have numbers behind them. Then, once they have hit the 10% populace margin, they run riot. Literally. Crime/rape/ violent crime escalates astronomically, and no go zones become formed around muslims ghettos, policed by none-other than the poverty stricken muslims themselves.

We don't want that here. Islam = Sharia Law = incompatible with Australian democracy.

If your husband is as you describe, he does not pray, then there is nothing good for you in staying with him for two reasons:

1. The fact that he does not pray is a very serious matter. With regard to the one who does not pray because he is lazy, there is a difference of opinion among the scholars as to whether he is a kaafir, but the more correct opinion is that he is a kaafir, because of saheeh evidence to that effect.
