Nowhere Man is the tale of a photojournalist named Thomas Veil. After leaving to use the restroom while out to dinner with his wife, Tom returns to find that his life has been "erased." His wife does not recognize him and is living with another man. His ATM cards no longer work. His best friend turns up dead. His mother was previously recovering from a stroke, so she is incapable of confirming his existence. In the course of a single evening, every trace of Tom's identity has been erased.

Anybody know where the Xroads are? They are NOT the same as Castaway. The closest I've come is Lancaster CA, corner of H and 60W. But if someone has a better one, LMK. I can see the tan building so I know it's very close to one of these roads. I'm just worried time has changed the look.

Thank you so much for this. I adored this show fifteen years ago. Everyone loved it; the critics, the fans. I've no idea why they canceled it. It could have gone to great places, but it was not to be. Once again, thank you for this.

What would have been really cool is if the song "Nowhere man" was playing on the radio in the truck at the end.

The ending of this pilot lingered in my minds for days after I saw it.

One of the best pilots I saw that season and one of the best executed pilots for show i have in more than a decade.

The final shot is beautiful here unlike anything that was being done on tv at the time.

No wonder this show was cancelled.
