After playing with Ragna, uair is great, as is usmash, which breaks shields often. Throws are a great new tool to mess around with, although I always find myself dthrowing first no matter what. Great stuff, still can't get the new Aether to work though.

Dthrow should always be used first no matter what, at any point past 40 it's a free 7 damage with 1 pummel before the dthrow and 1 pummel after. Hold X after starting grounded aether, if you hold back or down he'll do the back jump instead, if you hold up forward or nothing he'll do the forward jump. After the jump starts if you hold A he'll come crashing down, if you hold B he'll do his old up air.

Alright thanks, I'll give that a try, maybe try to find some good uses for it. I'm having trouble implementing his dsmash into anything useful. I got lucky when playing in Brawl+ and it got them at the ledge, but otherwise it just didn't do much for me. Where would be good instances that would make it useful?

Use it when someone is cornered or you want to bait their spot dodge, it punishes the hell out of people who stay right on top or in front of you and like defending before anything else
