  • I had just arrived from Dublin Ireland to get some maintenance done on this goose. The tower told me that they had just announced that another war bird had just landed. I saw folks running to get a look so I did a 360 so they could see what the plane looked like from every angle. Duxford is a fantastic place and the Museum is one of the best in the world. It was great to be part of the history associated with this airport. Fred Ball

  • @pipersaratoga Wow Fred! I did not expect a reply from the actual pilot!. I love Duxford very much and I am very happy that I was lucky enough to capture your 360. I am halfway through my PPL and am hoping to fly into Duxford myself one day.

  • This aircraft seems familiar; Was it at one time kept on Nevis, West Indies ?

  • You can check out some of my other video at the pipersaratoga pages I think. The one of the grumman widgeon take off and landing and main wheel balance might interest you too. You might be able to find it by searching Grumman Widgeon Takeoff and landing. (Fred Ball)

  • My first landing at Duxford coming in from near Dublin Ireland. What a fantastic place to visit and see aviation history at its best. Fred Ball
