I dont understand how some* American muscle guys bash euro cars and curse it for being "too expensive" (because they cant find anything else wrong with it) or calling a Jap car that makes good power "rice" just because it doesnt have a huge V8 then they turn around and make cars with fake hood scoops, carbon fibre stickers, pleather interiors and 4.6L V8's making 320 hp (or even more pathetic a 5.7L V8 making 375hp) and have the nerve to call it a GT car.

audi wants to show what is possible with a diesel engine

and diesel has a lot of advatages: more torque , they need less fuel, and they are robust

@daylightbombings unlikely to be honest, in terms of how it looks and the interior trim, the audi will be better in 10 years, mechanically, american cars will be better. you look at ebay US or other american car websites and you will see chevrolets and chryslers etc going with 500k+ miles on in good mechanical condition.
