This will teach you how to make a basic button, not much to say. This should work in any flash version as long as your in Action Script (AS) 2.
I did not make macromedia flash. Macromedia/Adobe Did.

Awesome, now just follow the tutorial and you should have a button, if you need a CS5 version of this tutorial just ask, but not much is different.
