  • In general, sonographer do protocol’s measurements of organ in three dimensions to get volume twice in saggital, and once in transverse or twice in transverse and once in saggital; saggital measurements are made in the mid line, and transverse in the middle place. This is the most common protocol, but you have to adapt to the diagnostic centers. In addition, doctor can measure any thing he wants to.
