Close up video showing how to attach a clasp using a crimp bead to a beaded jewelry designs. Use this technique to make bracelets, anklets & necklaces. Crimp beads are used to secure beading wire on a clasp of your choice.
Thank you for taking the time to upload this video, I have just started out making necklaces and have been failing miserably, it is now as clear sa daylight where I was going wrong.... thank you for much
Aha !! now I can see where I've been going wrong, I was just squeezing with the 'v' shaped bit of the crimpers and getting a few sharp edges.....thankyou so much.
@vejetasmom24 you might be using the wrong size of crimp bead for your crimp tool. it's possible you didn't squeeze the tool hard enough, or you had really super skinny wire... try different things and see what works.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Sometimes its the simple steps that hold people back from trying these projects, you must be a true artist at heart; not afraid to give up some of your 'power'. Knowledge is power.
