From http://www.steviesnacks.com. Learn how to play this classic turnaround from the Stevie Ray Vaughan song Pride And Joy. A great way to end a 12 bar chorus.

  • You should be Hand Model guy not This

  • @kaliyow8 LOL

  • I have a 2002 Fender Strat Delux Model , with Texas pickups , so I'm getting the SRV sound , but is I think it's better if I go a half step down on the tunning to Eb , since I've heard that is how Stevie did it anyways .

  • The half step down thing isn't so much a part of the tone as the heavy strings. The heavier strings make a really big difference in tone, but they require tuning down to relieve stress on the guitar neck.

  • That video of you playing in beginning and end is pretty cool you should post the whole thing. Awsome lesson btw helped alot

  • Thanks gr8

  • Thanks for the licks...20 year anniv today!

  • I just watched your Pride and Joy Turnaround lesson with SRV playing in real time in the background. Gotta tell ya it was very cool listening to the riffs in half time randomly laying on top of the real recording. About 95% of the vid fit right in with the recording including during the stops. Thanks for making my day

  • Sweet lesson, thanks for posting.
