@the5790 i can see eagles from my house. I would be to chicken to go out there in a kayak. It is beautiful. It looks like you are out quite far. I am more of a ferry girl. You know want be lost in the lake never to be found again.

I paddle my Kayak on Lake Superior all the time… I feel safer in my 16' Romany than I would in a 30' powerboat.

We are always close to shore and on well planned routes. I always bring full survival gear(including several days of food). Sea kayaking on Lake Superior allows you to see such incredible things such at bald eagles, huge rock formations, stunning beaches, etc.
