I was born in 1979, and grew up on this game! Played OutRun in arcades and on my Sega Master System. This track makes me wanna cry, cause it sounds like farewell music. This played in my head when I graduated high school in 1998.

I love this song. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Born in 86, I kinda remember seeing the arcade growin up, but a few months ago (middle of july), I discovered this on my bro's xbox360 (outrun2006). I beat the game, and this theme comes on.. ugh.. so amazing.. I love when that chick says "GAME OVER" between :59-1:06!
