The second of our three short skits for Halloween, "The Trick of the Treat" is written and directed by Drew Steck.

An office worker passes out suspicious treats to unknowing co-workers. Just what is his trick?

We had to coax Drew into contributing his own short, and in the end it was worth it. The idea for this materialized as a joke; but soon it blossomed into a vague narrative...all in the course of one night. Shot the next day without a script and acted through improv, the minimal shoot spanned no more than three hours.

Allow me to express the same love on your lead actor that everyone else has already. Every word flows naturally from his mouth. Was that all scripted or did he improvise based on a general idea of where he needed to go for each scene?

The short was scripted, but if I remember correctly, a few of the lines he had were somewhat spontaneous.

@tresensei85 He took off his pants cus before that he was getting ready to stab the dudes by getting comfortable but they decided to be more dramatic on the "getting comfortable" part. lol.
