Just a random video of my WRX on the road, small pulls with the exhaust open and closed. Dumps out after the turbo with it open, closed goes through the GReddy Evo cat-back. Other mods include GT-Spec header/up-pipe, Godspeed Downpipe(custom for the dump)

  • nice turbo surge at 51 seconds.......put the stock BPV back on it and it will run alot better and SAVE YOUR TURBO.

  • @yourallsik I don't know what you're talking about but if you mean compressor surge, that wasn't it. Compressor surge is when the boost fluctuates, usually to dangerous levels. It was an upgraded turbo... well, if you consider a vf-34 an upgrade. I couldn't have broken that turbo if i wanted. Anyways, i don't think its going to matter too much cause my sister did a 180 off the freeway into a 4' concrete bridge column at M-14 and joy road near Ann Arbor, MI. My sister was fine. The car wasn't.

  • @WRCaya It sounds like you are running a HKS BOV there is no need to run an aftermarket BOV if you are under 22psi. The only reason people are using them is for the "cool sound". Im not being a dick but put your stock one back on i guarantee it will run better. High boost wont kill the turbo it will kill your engine by the way.

  • @WRCaya you clearly have no idea what you are talking about compressor surge is when your bov doesnt open like it is suposed too and it doesnt release that pressure and your compressor surges. There is no such thing as a stage 2.5 its either stage 2 or stage 3 which is it? A VF34 is nothing special its not even as big as an STI turbo which is a VF39. In any case im glad your sis is ok and that is why i dont let ANYONE drive my Stage 3 wagon. I didnt let anyone drive it stock.
