9 trains were carefully selected for your viewing pleasure because of their awesome display of motive power, horns, and location. Witness scenes of trains throttling hard to get their train moving up grade, passing former stations, sunsets, and beautiful farm scenery, or through a heavy downtown setting with lots of crossings. You will see a variety of motive power, including two still wearing Conrail paint, foreign units, and Canadian Pacific's haulage-rights train. Enjoy! And as always, thanks for watching!

11J passes through the crossing alley in Lebanon. Because of the horn configuration on the SD70, it sounds as though it is giving one constant blast through the city!

34A is led by one of the last two remaining Conrail blue SD60I locomotives!

Threatening skies loom in the background, as M6T catches some sun and throttles hard coming up the grade into Palmyra pulling a heavy mixed freight train with a nice foreign leader! It is running opposite-main around the Hershey shifter and will soon knock down the Approach-Limited signal at 95-1E in order to cross back over to track 2 at MILLARDS. The station it passes is now a model train shop.

17G led by a relatively new rebuild heads west by some farms near the DORF signals, listen to that bell!

The H48 crew delivers 50 loaded stone cars for a 64Q to Delaware. The train has one of few remaining blue locomotives, and throttles up for the hill into Richland, passing some of the many fine farmland scenes along the Harrisburg Line.

12/19/11
66Q crosses over from 1 to 2 at DORF after letting hotshot intermodal 20W ahead. The train weighs in over 10,000 tons and is throttling hard to move the tankers up a slight grade after being at a dead stop.

  • Nice catch on the Conrail, CP, and UP's. Cool video.

  • @ 1:15, there is a SP autorack

  • What an idiot at 00:28!!!!

  • Nice comp! I see you were lucky enough to get one of those last two blue SD60I's, I'm sure they'll both be black by the time I get out to NS rails again. I was around that model train shop in Palmyra two Falls ago, I remember shooting one hell of an H68 there, too bad the owner wouldn't let us park and use the station for cover from the rain.

  • Awesome video!

  • Excellent catches!
