  • No, the shotput is based on this much older event.  So the shotput is basically the Braemar stone for people who can't pick up the stone.

  • you might be suprised. the stone might feel better to you. the weight is distributed over the entire hand, so it feels a bit easier than a traditional shot. You should try the highland games out, they're a blast!

  • sorry my bad, I actually just looked it up and you are correct. sorry for my mistake lol. but personaly I would prefer to throw a uniformed shape shot over a rock, but thats just me. hightland games look pretty interesting though

  • not really sure if the anchient greeks traveled to scottland to get their olyimpic ovents
