you might be suprised. the stone might feel better to you. the weight is distributed over the entire hand, so it feels a bit easier than a traditional shot. You should try the highland games out, they're a blast!

sorry my bad, I actually just looked it up and you are correct. sorry for my mistake lol. but personaly I would prefer to throw a uniformed shape shot over a rock, but thats just me. hightland games look pretty interesting though

No, the shotput is based on this much older event. So the shotput is basically the Braemar stone for people who can't pick up the stone.
