Wonderful to know that someone besides myself knows this tune! Does anyone know the origin? My grandpa has been singing this to me since I was born-24 years ago- his memory is not what it used to be, and he can't remember the original singer. If anyone has an idea, let me know, Thanks!

Its been years since I've heard this song. I used to sing it to my son when he was very young and we would dance around the house. We were very poor, and this was our way of fun.
