John wasn't just a genius songwriter, brilliant singer, and amazingly powerful influence on many generations...he was also an incredibly charismatic and funny person just naturally.

Really really cool, I didn't know about his Action News weather report. I did meet Larry once..seen him often around my old neighborhood, his son was a fellow classmate in high school.

I am from Philadelphia and I was a little boy about 7 years old at the time. I can still remember the next day everybody talking about John Lennon on Action News doing the weather report for Larry Kane. I was listening to the Beatles at that time because my older brother turned me on to them and now I am 42 and still a huge fan. I think it is so cool that he stopped in my local news broadcast to do the weather with his old pal larry kane.
