March 20, 2010. A team of 6 volunteers (neonatologist, pediatric intensivist, 2 pediaitricians a pediatric nurse practitioner and a biomedical engineer) supported by a grant from Variety Children's Lifeline begin the ground work to establish a pediatric/neonatal ICU at the Adventist Hospital.
We will continue to provide the education, training, certification and equipment necessary for this unit to become sustainable.
