Tracking of the Oruzogo mountain Gorilla group in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, near Ruhija in Uganda on Sunday 18 September 2011.
At this time the Oruzogo group consisted of 23 members with 2 silverbacks, black-backs and a baby of only 3 weeks old.
Being so close, looking the legendary giant mountain gorillas in the eyes... probably a once in a lifetime, never to forget magical experience!
This day it only took about 1,5 hours to find the group, trackers leading the way carving a path with their machetes through the impenetrable forest.
Bwindi forest is home to over 120 different mammal species, of which 10 different primates, and over 350 different kinds of birds and over 1.000 species of plants.
Super om dit terug te zien Pim!
