Yasin Malik criticizes those who take domestic politics and take it overseas in other countries. Compares the unity among overseas Hindus who while critical of each other inside India, do not distinguish between themselves when they are overseas and lobby for India.

This seems to catch Imran Khan in his tracks as he is in the middle of a tirade against our leaders and taking it overseas.

This is one of the weaknesses of Imran Khan, that while railing (correctly) against the (usually nonthinking) Pakistanis who start acting like they are Western themselves and take their case to the West, he himself allows himself to succumb to that. Taking the domestic politics of Pakistan and taking it to the U.K. "advising" them about the unsuitability of such and such candidate in Pakistan. All the while being unthinking about the impression this creates in people in Pakistan. The "going to London" to advise outsiders is not much different from the behaviour he has criticized earlier.

I think he is referring to the protests by pakistani political parties - for example in London or New York.

He is not saying they are the average Pakistani - as most of those protesting ARE related to some political party or other.

There were concerted efforts by PPP, PML-N, and most prominently Imran Khan to bring media attention to political figures in Pakistan (like Altaf Hussain) or Musharraf by holding protests in London.

They attracted little attention in the U.K. or in the U.S. because of their small nature, but they were used in Pakistan by media groups like Geo and AAJ TV to push the agenda.

It is in that context that one needs to consider what Yasin Malik says - that WHY are Pakistanis taking domestic matters to foreign territory instead of resolving them within Pakistan. Because by opening it up to the world, you expose Pakistani domestic politics to foreign interference.

Many countries are just waiting for the chance to act as "interested parties". So why fan those tendencies ?

The average U.S. town won't have that many Pakistanis (or even a political presence) - but among more recent immigrants or in city centers there were protests - although the groups were most likely composed of political workers of those parties and not representative of the Pakistani public there.

Not all, some say pakistani,That's because AJK, gilgit, baltistan POK up to babi-e-Khayber belongs to Kashmir and is occuppied by pak. Our people from POK are oppressed by Pak, they are afraid of them that's y they say pakistani, lack of education played a part aslo as they are not allowed to learn kashmiri at school in order to keep them paki but our people know their true identity and they adore kashmir.. All Kashmiries nationals want freedom and want their old boaders back just like we used to have before 1947. We have lost 250,000 people in our freedom struggle. @cuteamyn you are right, pakstanis are actually Indians, at least we were the same till 64 years ago. God willing when pakistan is obliterated then india will rule the roost over the enture subcontinent. meanwhile go suck up to your mullahs and study some more in your madrassas.
