After viewing this video, I became pretty convinced that this man probably knew my grandfather, who was also Mexican-American and within the 502nd PIR -- but was sad to read that Peniche had already passed. My grandfather, Amos Almeida, is still alive, however. And many thanks to men like him and Peniche for all that they did.

pride is that eduardo peniche is Mexican and for all americans recognize and know what is value and courage and brotherhood of a Mexican towards others and take into account that we Mexicans as well as all those who fell in battle that we are equal in war there is no single race or religious brotherhood there .. brothers in suffering, brothers fighting, blood brothers..
