KHADAK - trailer

KHADAK is het verhaal van de Bagi, een jonge Mongoolse nomade die geconfronteerd wordt met zijn lot om sjamaan te worden.
Als het vee door een plaag wordt getroffen, worden de nomaden gedwongen te verhuizen naar de mijnsteden. Bagi redt daar het leven van de beeldschone kolendief, Zolzaya, en samen ontdekken zij dat de plaag een leugen was om de nomaden te verdrijven.

De film is geheel in Mongolie opgenomen en de hoofdrollen worden vertolkt door de Mongoolse acteurs Batzul Khayankhyarvaa (Bagi) en Tsetsegee Byamba (Zolzaya).

@AzzimMuzzik  not sure about online and free, but I checked this out at my city's public library for free and watched it on the dvd player. Definitely worth watching.

Beautifully done film...I had the good fortune of watching it at the Sundance Film festival in '07 and hearing the film makers speak about their film and the process to make it. They are documentary filmmakers (German & Belgium film) and this was their first experience at fictional work. I watched this film before I began my shamanic path...it hindsight I can see why I enjoyed it so much...as it was answering a need within me that I did not know I had.

One of the best movie I ever saw was shot in Mongolia about the modernization of the country. If you get a chance see it. It's called "Close to Eden in English."
