The BBC or ITV should use this as the theme for the next European champs or World Cup, It's got the summer feel to it and I can picture it edited together with footballers showing skills and scoring goals. Classic..

@TheNewFormat All true, but it doesn't diminish Herb Alpert's talents.While he actually got better the older he got, it was his younger self that got a lot us amateur trumpet players (some of who became great, just not me) interested in the instrument to begin with. So I still love his music,

@StevieB1362 The TJ Brass is really just studio musicians headed by Herb Alpert. Mr. Bacharach & Alpert were friends. Burt helped Herb to form A&M Records. Burt decided it would be great to use Herb and his big brassy sound in the title track. The entire score including the title track was composed, arranged and conducted by Burt Bacharach - with lyrics by Hal David.
