Alter Ego

This video may not make sense. Making it, I got a head ache of conflicting thoughts. Back and forth, yes and no...

But I needed to post it. I promised myself I won't post any somber videos on YouTube, but I feel like it's the only way to conclude what's going on in my head right now.

This video started as a, "OMG how do these people exist?" Then it led to questioning me and my personality, after explaining frustrations about a friends secluded and anti-social nature.

The most people that are drawn to the internet are anti socials, in my opinion. It's easier to talk on the internet.

Are you antisocial? If so, how come? Do you feel as if your opinion doesn't matter in the real world? You're looks aren't good enough? Jokes aren't funny enough?

What causes antisocial behavior that the internet eliminates?

Possessed and you can't keep your cool..... i personally think about it all the time and its so confusing i try to divide it up into positive alter egos and negative alter egos..... i learned its just a "excuse" or a decoy that people make up so that they wont expose their real selves to something overwhelming or something that they arent used to...... its just a reaction that people create from insecurities or to protect themselves they exist because the man created them... it still confuses me

Its almost ungodly and its almost like they are possessed or provoked to do something they normally wont do..... some people have another side when they do drugs and alcohol because it puts them in a state of mind that makes them feel a certain way not a sober way but like a uncontrolled, vulnerable, feeling.... and then thats when you go into a feeling probably like your being taken advantage of..... And then you feel like denial and stuff... its not that they are humans its just you were......

I feel that having what is known as an alter ego isnt something that is as big as it is portrayed it is mostly the shock and your reaction to another enviroment and situation when stars are on stage they dont more and likely stay the exact same way.... because they are trying to keep the attention of the crowd its just a reaction and sometimes you will find them saying "its not me" and they say that because they can't stay their natural selves they are almost swept away by being overwhelmed.....

I think its important to ask yourself what the guy might say at the end of the vid.

My point by referencing the vid is to relax the concerns people have for supposed problem behaviour, if someone acts different to us we assume theres some emotional disturbance on there part, when in fact it is our own repression at work.

we all have confidence in some areas and not in others. the celebrities and confident people were given to look up to are illusions of independant thought. The girl asleep at the party image to me is like the Radiohead video 'just' . You see everyone is socially adapting to everyone else, the only person being real at the party is the girl asleep on the floor. :)

society expects us to be trained schizophrenics, the battle in my view is to stay strong and become what you need to become.

Most people want to be someone else sometimes. The internet allows this, so does the stage for actors and perfomers.  You get to play being someone else, just sometimes we get lost in those moments. Being who you are is hard because of fear of rejection. If you reject the made up me that is ok I can change but if you reject the real me it is devestating. We all want to fit in so we adapt to the social enviroment even if it hurts us or cost us something of ourselves. Hope this helps.

Personally, I'm not antisocial. I did have a reclusive period once, and I retreated to the internet where I could say anything I wanted without being shy. It's easier to talk on the internet because you're not talking to anybody directly, and you can hide your flaws. It's dishonest and I don't like to be dishonest unless I have to which is what draws some people to the internet. People can be whoever they want to be, which, I guess you can say, shows their other personality.
