This spot aired in the San Francisco bay area during 1985. Marine World Africa USA relocated from Redwood City to Vallejo, and later, was purchased by Six Flags. Currently known as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

I took my girl friend there in 1984/85?. We were watching the elephant show. Sittng very close to the stage. One of the elephants took a dump. Then sat on it. I just knew nothing good was gonna come to this and sure enough when he got up and started dancing & spinning around, elephant crap flew everywhere. She had on a beautiful white shirt. Kind of funny, looking back on it. Deb are you there?

It became a lot of housing development , grocery store, Oracle, E.A. Sports aka REDWOOD SHORES. Me and my friends had a lot of good times in the 1990's hanging in Redwood Shores being jack ass teenagers.

My Uncle worked for Marine World in the late 1970's driving a boat.

i went there as a kid. i told a few of my younger cousins about it and they never knew the redwood city was the original location

@TJL31SJ Yah, I worked there, I lived very close and my room window overlooked it...it was a trip cause I went there as a kid watching animals, Then as an adult...earning a living.

Yes, Oracle and other businesses are there now, plus condominiums and houses further down what used to be Marine World Parkway. I still refer to it as such, but they changed the signs a few years back to simply read Marine Parkway.
