Hi there, you're watching ClevverMusic, and I'm your host Bridget Daly. Billboard has just released their end of the year reader's poll for pretty much every category under the sun when it comes to music. And one name who is ALL over the list is Lady Gaga. But the one category that sticks out to us is the fact that she was named the Most Overrated Artist of the year, beating out Britney Spears and Justin Bieber. 30% of the pollees picked Gaga as the most overrated of the year, but don't worry, because she was also a contender in some other awesome categories.
Gaga came in second to Britney for the 2011 MVP, and third place for Favorite Hot 100 #1, as well as Fave Billboard 200 #1 and second place for best Music Video. So not all bad right? But we want to hear from you little monsters about what you make of the most overrated category. After The Fame + The Fame Monster, it became more about the performance and less about just the song. You are honestly so fucking ignorant if you can't see the impact Gaga has made. Lady Gaga is overrated because her fans believe she is all ORIGINAL and that is something that SHE IS NOT! Even her clothes are not totally original... there is nothing NEW under the sun... she was just the pop star of the moment... 2011 wasn't a big year for her... we need to wait to see what she is up to this year but the charts doesn't help her that much. Her only number one hit was Born This Way. Rihanna & Katy Perry are dominating pop music with more number one hits than her!

@whodoyouthinkheare I disagree, in fact she is quite the opposite of overrated. She is actually very underestimated. She has to endure harsh insults about the way she looks, even though looks should play no part where music is concerned, she has an undoubtably beautiful singing voice, she creates meaningful and inspirational music, she never dises any other celebrity and is a kind person aswell as a true talent... yet she still has lot of haters.. overrated ? I don't think so
