Pat picked up my guitar and played when he visited my home as a teenager and even then I was impressed with his range and natural ability. Over the years he has become an outstanding guitarist.
I wish he would put more on You tube demonstrating his various styles of play and improvisation to receive the recognition he truly deserves.
i was lucky enough to catch him in alford earlier this year and was stunned. i just wish id taken more time when i was living in louth to see more of him then
Totally beautiful and so authentic you can almost smell the broken biscuits and elbow patches! I remember Pat being a rock out top 40 player, I'm not sure if he found his niche or the niche found him but it makes for pure musical resolution (albeit a bit humbling)

I don't understand Jazz, and i probably never will. But what i know is that it sounds and feels damn nice.
And that both sounded and felt bloody good!
Well played!
