Actually, the game is bugged (not chartwise).
When playing, sometimes the score and multiplier just turn into white blocks. And when my iPod says "20% of battery left" the game just kicks me back to the main menu.

That's not a bug, that's what you get when you play with very little battery remaining (which in turn makes the unit's processor slow down automatically to optimize for the lack of power) and/or when you haven't rebooted your ipod in a while after strenous activity.
