Just finished my new Slash 4x4!
The only thing i havent get yet is a new body.
I have a 200mm 1/10 clasic body (very ugly, but enough to protect it from crashes) untill i take a new Slash 4x4 body.
Nothing serious just a small test with it.
Specs:
Motor: Turnigy Trackstar 2560kv
ESC: Hobbyking 100 A
Battery: Zippy 5000mAh (cont)15C-(Peak)25C
Total weight: ~ 2700 gr
Everything else is stock. Also is at its highest shock mounts for as much as enough ground clearence, thats why its not very stable at turns+

  • have any trouble with that motor and that lipo?

it seen that doesnt have enough power for that motor! should be 25c at least.

  • @ObliviunRC

no i havent got any problem! It has enough power!

I will buy a 5000 20C (continuous)-30C (peak) battery to test it sometime but i am a bit afraid

to use a big C battery because of the ESC.I think it wont handle a big Amperage battery.

I think the ESC peak amperage is 150A.So 25C 5000mAh battery would be ok.For more dont know for sure!

  • @grmrdrifter as long as the battery's burst discharge doesnt exceed the esc's peak amperage then you're fine. Remember, a lipo's discharge is the Ah times C rating, so 5000mah(5) x 20C = 100amps, same as the esc. it should be perfect.
