  • Man, I love it when people that fly planes on flight simulator (I'm not saying I don't) get on here and criticize actual pilots! They always have something to point out.

Now, I play Flight Simulator, and I'm not saying that some people commenting on this aren't real world pilots.

But to the people who are flight sim pilots who criticize real world pilots, please stop, because you know you couldn't do any better!

  • any landing u walk away from is a good landing

  • I want this video on my 840 phone.

  • Good save.

  • Did you just by a high frquency radio and tune in?

  • tá porra,ai deve ter é furacão.

  • I fly a 767 for a major airline. The speed at which you land an aircraft is based on factors including weight, headwind component final flap setting. A usual speed for an average 135 T. weight is about 140 Kts plus a 5 kt additive so 145 kts. I've landed as fast as 160 kts at max landing weight 145.2 T.and strong headwinds and as slow as 119 kts,for test flights with an empty aircraft. Crosswinds, no matter how strong, have no effect on landing speed since they have no effect on groundspeed.

  • Exactly! which makes it even more strange that he didn't use reverser's!

  • omg first of all airplanes use knots ,not mph, second ofa all 140 mph is what a small boeing 737-200 lands at on a clear day with good weather; a 767-300 lands at about 210-220 mph in a crosswind big jets they need lots of speed in order to manuvre the aircraft effectivly in order to land safely

  • That may be because his reverser's weren't working so went for full brakes, the slowest speed these large jets touch down is around 140 mph.

  • i cannot exactly say the speed but by seeing the amount of runway he used to slow the aircraft he wasnt going very fast

  • Really? How fast do you tink he's going?can youtell? With jets especially large jets you immediatly deploy reversers! No matter what speed. Unless they are not working of course and this guy was doing crazy cross wind!
