How many uses can you get out of a corncob pipe? How different is it from a briar pipe?

And as for young people not smoking Pipes? Pishposh! I'm 21 on the First of December, and I've already bid on 2 pipes on Ebay, and plan to try and instant-buy an Estate pipe.
Like you said, "It's a great oppertunity." Or as others would say,
"One mans junk is another mans treasure!"
It's a shame to see hand-crafts like pipes go to waste!

Y'damned right! As with anything in life - from something as complicated as building or driving a car, right down to how you tuck your sheets under your bed, how you eat your dinner or drink your water. Never a truer word was spoken as, "You do it how YOU want to. Not somebody elses idea of how you SHOULD."
Great way to word it mate!
Said in very much the manner of a "Father of Pipe-Smokin'!"

Your seemingly obvious wisdom is simply amazing!

I guess only the young may have this problem....It's a general belief that pipe smoking is "for older men only", they think that "it's not modern"....I believe the exeptions are in the world of culture and the arts, such in the musicians. For example the blues culture.
