Other than Bowie, nothing as amazing as the iconic entrance of Gary Numan before or since.

Hmmm, I think Kate Bush's debut was pretty spectacular. Annie Lennox registering on the public's radar in 'Sweet Dreams' was like the second coming of Ziggy Stardust, only this time with ovaries and a crew cut. I agree though, Bowie's entrance onto the music scene has only ever been equaled by Numan.

Vince didn't sell ALL his gear, mainly just the digital crap he didn't need. He kept mostly all the rare analog kit and had it moved over to his studio in America. This is gonna be a spectacular documentary on Firday 16th Oct 2009 BBC4 9pm.

Should be a great proggy! :)

80's music rocks. Heheh, as Tony James of Sigue Sigue Sputnik put it, "We invented the future!"

Daniel Miller's synth collection is astounding.....

Why did Vince Clarke sell all of his old gear.....

Maybe the two are connected?
