Instant Induction - Handshake Interrupt

The famous handshake interrupt induction.... with none other than..... DAVID (again =P... trying to get my other friend Russel to get in on this =P). Here we have the classic handshake interrupt with a little twist. Simple to understand, trick to perform. This requires timing and firm yet reassuring suggestions. Tell them that in a moment you are going to shake their hand and ask if its ok for you to do that. Once you get permission, hold out your hand to shake but AS THEY ARE ABOUT TO SHAKE IT, grab their wrist with your free hand, bring it up to their face and give them suggestions to stare at it, focus all their attention on it, etc. Tell them that once their hand touches their face, they're just going to find themselves relaxing completely. (slowly move their hand to their face as you say this). Once it touches, give the sleep command, and begin deepening.

i did this to someone at my school. walked up to him and introduced myself with a handshake, than snatched his wrist, held it up to his face and quikly said "when your hand wioll touch your face you will fall into a complete relaxation" than i quickly spushed his hand into his face, which was a little to fast not to mention i did this all without his permision. And let me just tell you IT DIDNT WORK. this guy shoved me into a locker and punched me in the stomach.

@spunkflunk Of course it didn't. Two problems here: a) You are inexperienced, and b) you did not ask permission, which you admitted to yourself. You *cannot* hypnotize someone against their will- any hypnotherapist will tell you that. So, yeah. You're lucky you didn't try this on a classmate who would have roughed you up even worse than the guy you tried to do this to.
