It is SO easy to forget how normal all of this sounded when I trusted the government and media. It creeps me out to the core, according to my current knowledge... but not so long ago, pre-internet...

... none of this seemed creepy at all. It just seemed like effective military training and reasonable precautions.

This is a catch 22 issue. On the off chance there WERE chemical weapons used over my son's school, I would want them to seal off every entrance, duct tape the windows and try and wait a day... maybe.

In that case, you couldn't open the door, because you may let agent X-241-qAlpha in and kill the kiddies.

We need to focus on the big issues and create a world where this is not something we reasonably have to plan for... or a world where the implications weren't as creepy :)
