In humanitarian news, a French museum donates toys to Nepalese children. Quai Branly Museum in Paris, which is dedicated to indigenous art and culture, sent more than 40 large boxes of toys to the children in Beldangi and other camps in eastern Nepal. The museum collaborated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees office, also in the capital city of France, to organize the campaign to collect toys. They were flown free of charge to Nepal by the humanitarian organization, Aviation Without Borders. One of the recipients, five-year-old Salina Sherpa, said, "This doll looks just like my friend - it is so beautiful. I will play with her every day."
Our many thanks, Quai Branly Museum, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Aviation Without Borders, for your wonderful joint endeavor. May the lovely children greet bright and sustainable futures, with God's abundant blessings.
