The WORST Poem Ever In A Movie

O LE KU; one of my favourite nigerian movies of all time. Watched the movie over and over. It was spectacular.

Ok everyone - look. The english translation that is subtitled is no doubt one of the most cheesy and nonsensical poems I've ever seen in a movie. Perhaps it is so much better in Yoruba? Can anyone provide a better translation?

i do not intend to be rude onlytheworst, but for you to judge a poem read in a language you do not understand based only on its english interpretation is irresponsible. I however must thank you for posting it since it affords us the opportunity to savour the beauty of this beautiful rendition

The writer means the best poem. Sorry, it must be a typographical error, otherwise he/she must be a joker for calling this the worst poem.

I am a poet, and anyone who thinks this Yoruba poem is the worst lacks poetic and basic intelligence. This is a masterpeice, it is one of the deepest love poems I have ever heard!

I agree with you, obviously the uploader does not understand yoruba, moreso since the movie does not use the anglised yoruba that most people speak today.
