Steele is wrong about America never giving itself to one party. What about 1932 or 1868? Is it likely Hoover's Republicans could have beaten FDR's New Deal? Or the barely reconstructed Democratic Party have won the first post-Civil War election?
I haven't mentioned Mr Steele's remarks on health care, out of respect and sympathy for the man. I'm sure, in later days, he will bitterly regret these silly expressions of right-wing blindness.

Most bankruptcies in the US are due to overwhelming medical bills and the majority of them have insurance. If you would like to read the health care bill for yourself you can easily do so via a link I have posted in the comment section of my profile. We have waited long enough for this reform and we do not need anymore excuses. Putting things off is no longer an option.
