  • You would sigh over scripture. That jsut shows me we have nothing more to discuss. If the bible says let the women keep silent the man who she is subject to ought to know better that to use her otherwise.

  • This brother is speaking the truth. The scriptures used to refute him are misquoted and have been for a long time. God is not antiquated, and is not in our little box. If you are not spiritual enough to know that God will do "a new thing", then you will be holding on to the "old thing" God did and begin to feel like King Saul.. wanting to kill David. The Spirit moves in new ways without changing His attributes. I pray these videos inspire joy and praise to our God, for continuing to lead us.

  • Rom 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

If you are asking the Lord for growth and wisdom, then seek fresh revelation. Don't look at everything in a worldly light. Jesus was an example of one who seemed to defy but in actuality fulfilled. The confusion is because some are worldly and some are spiritual in the church.

  • *sigh* 1 Cor 14:34 "women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.". The latter part of the verse supports the former.. must be in submission, or must remain obedient. And 1 Tim 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." likewise speaks of the same frowardness to remain under wraps. Both of these are telling us that the woman should not undermine worship from the men.

  • Speak where the bible speaks. And silent where the bible is silent. "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient" 1 Cor 6:12.

  • He made an excellent point; being Patriarchal versus being chauvinistic. Woman played a significant role in the supporting ministry of Jesus.

  • Why does this brother keep say what we believe and what I believe. The bible is explicit in it's nature when it comes to the role of women in the congregation. He gave no scripture for his and their belief. 1 Cor 14:34 and 1 Tim 2:12 are explicit in nature. You are causing confusion among the brotherhood and you need to stop. Worship is for who? God! We worship God not man!!!
