If you've ever found yourself at an address or intersection below, oh lets say 20th Street, there's a good chance you've spotted one of Pamela Love's pieces walking by you. Not that it's insulated in the downtown set, Love's pieces transcend skinny jeans, cigarettes, and all the other clichés associated with people who don't live on the Upper East Side. She sees herself as a local designer, working with her own hands. Here, we have the opportunity to see Love how she sees herself, via one of Kanon's favorite NYC filmmakers, Jenna Elizabeth. It's an intimate portrait of an intimate process that dates back to Love's childhood. Minus the flashbacks and tears.
