I made this short film for the 2009 Attention Span 30 Second Film Festival. This is my visual poem about struggling with the transition from war to the civilian world. The stress endured from war is classified as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I am an Iraq veteran, so, I wanted to pay tribute to my fellow commrades and friends of past, present & future. BUT most importantly, I wanted to address and send a message about returning veterans. Some of us have been fortunate enough to receive a warm welcome home and others have not. Most of the world forgets about us when we do return. They forget that the war is really never over inside our minds. This is for all of you. ALL GAVE SOME AND SOME GAVE ALL.
