Machinarium is an award-winning independent puzzle / adventure game developed by the makers of popular web-games Samorost and Samorost2.

It's a strange rusty, metallic place populated only by robots. The story is about a little robot who has been unjustly thrown out to the scrap yard behind the city. In the game he returns to the town where he meets the bad guys from Black Cap Brotherhood — they are just preparing a bomb attack on the central tower where the town ruler has residence in. Of course our hero must stop them and also rescue his friend robot-girl. * World: Machinarium world is populated only by robots of various forms and functions. One of the most interesting places in this world is old, rusty and legendary city of Machinarium where the game takes place * Story: You will have to get rid of wicked robots from the Black Cap Brotherhood and save the head of the city and also your robot-girl friend * Puzzles: You will be solving many logical puzzles, adventure quests, brain teasers and mini-games * Graphics: Backgrounds and characters are 2D hand-drawn and there is more then one hour of carefully crafted animations * Music: Beautiful original soundtrack was composed and recorded by Floex (Samorost2 OST) * Communication: You won't find any lengthy boring dialogs in this game, characters talk by comic bubbles with simple animations and symbols

I just wanted to add..... you can download Machinarium from Mac app store, but it's best to go direct to their site and for $5 you the Mac, Windows version plus soundtrack and the divs get 100% of it instead of Apple making 30% for the higher price! Great game!!!

Also I'm not sure about OMGWTFHAX but I'm going to check it out now!!!

@Utsha7s3v3n7 Yes it is and to think it's a FLASH 10.1 Player game available cross platform. So what's going to happen when 3D Molehill API's come out in FLASH 11. You'll be playing games like this in fully GPU accelerated 3D (just 0-5% CPU usage). Not only that but P2P in game chat & file sharing w/ Object replication that's in "Idle Worship" Online MMORPG coming to FACEBOOK soon and will only be available to Desktops and Mobiles w/ FLASH installed! ...best part is P2P Networked Game Play! ^_^

This looks absolutely fantastic in all aspects. Its a breath of fresh air from all the same type of rpgs and fps and mmos flying around. I love the artstyle and hope more games would create games like this with a soul that beams fun instead of mediocrity wrapped in outer exterior shiny graphics.
