This Elvis dude reminds me of Gene Simmons from KISS.

@TheJoec2005 yeah he didn't want to do it and he only went through four takes and it had to be edited to make the single his last million seller later the ever hungry for a dollar Colonel had it put on an LP as Elvis was going downhill fast it was "Burning Love and songs from Elvis' movies" or something to that effect With Burning Love it was a million seller Elvis started with such raw talent it was sad to see him in the end but he was one of the great ones who changed musid forever RIP Elvis

Elvis at this time was going through a bad patch, Priscilla had left him and during this recording session - Elvis only wanted to do sad songs like Seperate Ways.
To try and get Elvis out of this sombre mood, Felton Jarvis got Elvis to do Burning Love an up tempo and upbeat number.

Back then you didn't need Music Videos to push songs, nowadays you need to use videos to push CRAPPY "songs".
To be honest, with the exception of a few songs, if you heard them on the radio (and they didn't have a music video out) you would change channels !!!!!

LOVE IT! This should have been the new intro song to ELVIS ON TOUR if they had to change it. It matches the karate moves...etc of the film. It was very stupid to use "Don't Be Cruel" (a lame live version that they had to loop to make work). Good job on this video. I wish that this footage was in the new DVD. It's bothersome knowing that there's footage that could be used but we will only see it on bootlegs or youtube.

I haven't seen the release of Elvis On Tour on DvD as yet but I know EPE had to pay an arm and a leg to use Johnny B Good for their Aloha Boxset and it would appear they were not willing to be held to ransom over its usage again.
That being said, I think Don't Be Cruel being played to the action sequence at the start of the film is a really bad idea, because the music and lyrics don't fit the images - they'd be better of overdubbing some new, non-vocal music over the titles.
